Farm
Celebrating over 100 years as a 5-generation family farm, we at Bartee Ranch remain committed to producing safe, nutritious food for our fellow Coloradans. Building upon our rich heritage of conservation, we are responding to this year's dismal snow pack by planting drought tolerant heritage crops including quinoa, Anasazi beans cultivated from seeds found by archeologists at Mesa Verde, and many small plots of gluten-free grains for our new micro-mill. We are also converting over 75% of our crop land to drought tolerant pasture to mitigate excessive water use and wind erosion. With this pasture land, we will expand our herds of cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. We will be offering our meat, grains, and garden fresh produce at farmer's markets this summer. We hope to see you there or you can connect with us through our website at BarteeFamilyFoods.com.
